About Me
You probably know how to swim or are good at something, if you are lucky enough to have discovered it. I can’t play football, I can’t swim in water but thank God for data lakes because I can swim in data. Data science gives me a path where my talent can flourish while also helping me follow passions that ensure that I do what matters the most, impacting lives. I wish everything could be a byproduct of helping others because the desire to give back is my impetus for pursuing data science. And in that pursuit, I have learned how to employ tools such as SQL, NoSQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Snowflake, Data Build Tool, Machine Learning, et cetera.
Data Science comes in when you can’t rely on your gut feeling and success necessitates that more than one person be able to make decisions that feel right. You and I don’t have many natural defenses. We are not fast, and we are not all that strong. We don’t have body armor, claws, or fangs. We can’t spit venom. We can’t camouflage ourselves. Maybe you can swim but you can’t fly. Instead, you have your wits. Your mind is wired to detect patterns in data and quickly respond to threats and opportunities. The ability to use data to draw insights to benefit businesses and make successful predictions, therefore, is as big as any medical research towards mortality or disease control.
